I went to Aoyama festival with my best friend today. It was very fun!
And we could eat many delicious food, for example "Okonomiyaki" and "Chocolate banana". However, there were a lot of people and we almost separated. So be careful, if you go to with friends !

school festival☆

Our school festival is coming soon and I'm really looking forward to it.
So I'll inform about my club shop today♪
My club is going to sell okonomiyaki in our school festival and the shop number of our shop is 20, which is located near the main hall.

The theme my club declares this year is eco.
So we make okonomiyaki at a low cost and put it between takosenbei not to produce any garbage.
If you have enough time to visit our shop, please come and try our okonomiyaki!!

Book Report

Hi. I intended to write this blog yesterday, but so sleepy. I'm in the PC room now. I am not practicing IT program. I'm compiling materials for my book report. The time for deadline approaches by the time. This time I try to finish it early.

Last Sunday, I went to the campus festival of Tokyo technical university with my club member's. The university is in near the station so I felt very envious. The campus was so large that we couldn't go around all area. (The campus really like a city! ) Of course we went tea ceremony club and drunk tea. The tea room was elegant. I really enjoyed the tea party! I want to go other univercity's tea party again.

By the way, I had homework to explain the source of my name in French class.According to my parents,"Aya" is my mother's favorite kanji. And I was born in August. In lunar calendar, August is called "Hazuki". So my name is Ayaha. I want to know the source of other people's name.

I think that class is difficult. Sometimes we have to show our ability to other students and I become so nervous. At first I hated that class and teacher, but nowadays I became to like them. Every time I attend that class, I feel poverty of my English skill and get a motivation to study English. I think I will certainly get a motivation tomorrow.

By the way, do you know a drama"Long Vacation" has been broadcasted again until yesterday? Have you watched the drama?
I have never watched it but I knew the drama is very interesting. So I will watch it everyday. My favorite kind of drama is "love story" and "happy end". I don't watch the "not happy end" drama, for example "One liter of tears".
But "Long Vacation" is happy end, isn't it? So I enjoy watching it^^

I don't like Takuya Kimura very much. But "Hero" and "Good Luck" is my favorite dramas.
However... my best favorite drama is "Boys better than Flowers(花より男子)" !!

Today, I will go to Osaka! I will take a night bus and arrive at Osaka station 7 am tomorrow.
I'll show you my schedule!

First day, we will have a discussion meeting at Kobe city University of foreign studies. Second day is a free day! So, freshman in discussion section will make an eating tour. I'm looking forward to eating a genuine octopus flitters.
Third day, we will have a discussion meeting at Kwansei Gakuin University. Forth day, we will have a meeting at Kobe University.

Cold

I caught a cold again!
I have been sick since last Friday: I have a fever, a bad cough and a running nose. I really wanted to go to school today because I had a test in English literature class, and an assinment for IE Writing class! But I couldn't... These days influenza is prevalent in URC, my club. I doubt my cold is influenza, though my temperature is not high.
What do you usually do not to catch a cold? Please show me some advice(>_<)

That's right, Shuhei! The more serious this problem becomes, the more burden teachers are exposed to. In addition, these days, there is a growing trend of absurd parents who go to great lengths to improve the grade of their children. They are so-called monster parents, which is so formidable and terrible for teachers. Before, a drama about monster parents was broadcast. The title is just "MONSTER PARENT" , and the main role is Ryouko Yonekura. Their demands are thoughtless and rediculous beyond description. In a sense, it is admirable!!













Of course, there is a lot of problem in the side of teachers. You should explain some instances about bad teachers even if I don't say anything. Today, the execution of some systems to improve this teacher's problem is considerd and expected: regular renewal system of a teacher's license, performance-based pay, and deprivation system of a license(Performance-based pay is executed in some private high or junior high shcools.).

Until today, what kind of teachers or adults have you been instructed by? What were they like?You had better not only learn much knowledge but also contemplate about some educators around you!

The class of your teacher seems very interesting, so if possible, I want to listen to an evaluation your teacher has as a modern educator.

Most of the adult's evaluations toward the pressure-free education is considerably bad. Until today, I have never heard a good evaluation. Therefore, those who made a contibution to the execution is criticized for their being so shallow.(*At present, some people say that they made a contibution to the execution in order to ruin the Japanese soceity.)


Simply giving a lot of free time is anything but a good way without allowing for the number of goods of modern Japanese society or this world. Today this world is overfloating with a large number of goods. Consequentially, the goods have become the temptation which prevents young people from studing hard. For example, the temptation means the Internet, cellular phone, TV game and so on. These goods was once so fanciful that they were thought not to be going to come into being in those days, but the fact is that the technical progress which changed fanciful goods into real goods is now shaking the Japanese education in conjunction with the pressure-free education.


Originally, school is where students learn much knowledge, but as you say, rote learning is anything but good. This problem will be endless unless focusing on what is the best way students develop their academic ability with an interest in study.

figure skating

I watched figure skating on TV last night and today.
I have been cheering Mao Asada since I was a high school student.
Yesterday she was ranked 6 in the short program and she was ranked 5 in the free program, because she failed in jumping... When she came at the kiss and cry, she looked being disappointed and shocked. I was feeling so sad.
I am cheering that she will be able to play in the grand prise in December!

I think this problem is not caused by only time which we spend on studying. Teachers are exposed to a lot of pressure and they have to mind even student’s parents, so they can’t spend enough time on teaching. I think the more number of teachers work at school and each specialist share the burden. Therefore the government must spend money on education, I think. Compared with other countries, Japan spends too little.

I have more things to write, but I am tired to write. Let’s talk about this topic another time.

I've thought of the yutori kyouiku a bit before, when my teacher talked about it in the teaching course class, and last week in the class he showed us a graph of the transition of the length of students' study. It showed that the time of study schools have given has decreased. Then, the adoption of the system MAY be natural, but yutori is not so natural, I thought.

Of course children, including me or not, need power to survive and time to enjoy their life, but deceasing the opportunity of study hardly seems to give them the powers and the time. When we get more free time, we also get the need to think in ourselves. Thinking something needs some bases, and they rather consist of kinds of knowledge. Though the cramming system of education doesn't seem so good, the opportunity of getting knowledge shouldn't be lost.

In the system of yutori kyouiku, it seems ideal that the time when we can find something fascinating and we want to know would be longer, and then we can obtain the power to survive without decreasing knowledge we can gain. ... just an ideal, Ha-ha.

Well, even I said so, I would be happy with no class or no homework now! :9

I had a very good time!

Yesterday, I went to kichijozi:-) I like there very much because there are a lot of fashionable shops. I went to a shop which was full of frog goods. I really liked a frog ornament but I didn't buy because if I bought once, I thought I couldn't stop buying! :-)

After that, I went to friend's home in Fuchinobe in order to make presents for juniors. Next week, juniors in discussion section will retire from ESS. It is very sad for me X( So, we make them with our whole heart. I really want to see juniors feel happy !

Pressure-Free Education

Next Friday, we should have no class because of Aoyamagakuin university festival. We usually do the media report with franticness every Thursday, but next week we will feel so easy. Of course, as you know, we have to finish our first book report by Nov 6th. Book report is the most important homework in the class of IE2 core, so we had better spend a lot of time in doing the homework eagerly. In the former semester, I was brought home to the importance of time to do the homework because I couldn't get a good grade due to the time shortage...

The other day, I talked about the news that a former instructor committed acts of violence against boys in a reform school, and then, on the basis of the news, my group discuss the modern education in Japan, which is called pressure-free education "Yutori Kyouiku" anywhere in Japan. Today it is said that the educational system since 2002 has brought about the down of student's academic ability, but why did such an education start?

Simply, the purpose of pressure-free education is that young people can develop not much knowledge but their whole power to survive in modern society by increasing their free time. Until 2002, there had been rote learning "Tumekomi Kyouiku", which is opposite to the pressure-free education and stresses memorizing much knowledge intently. The rote learning in the generation between 1970 and 1974 called a baby-boom junior gave birth to the fierce entrance exams wars, so that the incident led to a large number of social issues about young people and education such as bullying, refusal to go to school, dropping out, the lateness of self-reliance and so on. In 1996, the first educational report was announced on the basis of the incident, which was first announced about pressure-free education, and now the pressure-free education is executed for the reason I mentioned.It is true that young people with an incentive is efficiently using the free time for themselves, but more people play to the full instead of reading a book. Young people may be unable to not only develop their ability but also keep their ability. In addition, the down of student's academic ability means that of internaitonal competitiveness in Japan. The down of international competitiveness means that of national income, so today it is concerned that the number of the poor in Japan is going to increase in the future.

It is very difficult for per person to think over and improve such a problem. I have had a nose cold since the last Monday. That's so anonying... Thanks to the cold, I can't completely consentrate on what I want to do! What a shame!!! Just now, I finished the media report, which is written about the news that a former instructor at a reform school was sentenced to nine months in prison because he repeated acts of violence against a 16-year boy between March 2008 and February 2009.
Do you know reform school? Reform school is a national facility which belongs to the Justice Ministry, and children who are supposed to receive the execution of a punishment are imprisoned there. We can call it in Japanese, "少年院." That's right! You know this word very much!
Why did he commit acts of violence against boys? Of course, there is a valid reason. In fact, the relationship between the instructor and boys is similar to that which is so familiar to us, and then what is needed in modern education and society? Physical punishment? If physical punishment is needed today, why have the today's educational system(pressure-free education) started? What is the purpose?

Spanish and the philosophy of Plato

Good evening. I have many classes every Thursday, so I was very tired. I study Spanish as second language. Spanish is very difficult for me. Spanish verbs conjugate variously. I have to study hard to memorize. The Philosophy of Plato gives trouble to me as well as Spanish. I study it in class of Aoyama standard. Frankly speaking, I can't understand perfectly what Plato insists. However, it seems to be good opinions because his opinions make a lot of sense even today.

WALL.E

I finished making tomorrow's media report just now. I always do my homework one day before limit. It is so bad...
Yesterday, I watched a DVD which is Disney PIXAR's WALL.E. Have you ever watched it? I was very impressed by this story. This movie doesn't have many wards, but I can know WALL.E loves EVE who is a new type robbot. WALL.E hoped to join hands with EVE some day. WALL.E was very cute!
And I cried the last scene. I think everyone can cry by watching this story! I do recommed this movie!

Today, I had a presentation in IE Ⅱ Writing class. I talked about J.K Rowling who wrote Harry Potter series. This series is very famous and read all over the world now, but she had a very hard time until it was published.

"Harry Potter" was born on her train trip from Manchester to London. Rowling married and had a baby when she was teaching English in Portugal. However, because of the couple's cold relationship, she divorced and came back to her homeland. She became a single mother. She suffered from depression, but she survived it and tried hard to write "Harry Potter" in coffee shop while her daughter Jessica was sleeping.

She made great success! I respect her very much. She is a brilliant woman to have given dream to people in the world.

Last game

There was a baseball game yesterday. It was a very important game, because if we defeated, third and forth year players will retire. That is why everybody did themselves best.
However the score was 1-1. So they retired yesterday.
I was extremely shocked and depressed...
From next practicing, there is no third and forth player in the ground.

job

Hi! I had job interview on Wednesday, then I got part-time employment. The job is staff of J league game and other event in "Azinomoto-studium" or "the National Athletic Stadium". I like watching J league, so I want to do my best to support not only players but also supporters.

Today my fourth class was Reading. We read the novel of Hemingway and do group presentation in class. Each group have read deeply and their presentation were very good! I want to follow their example and do good presentation.

soccer game

Yesterday, I went to Keio University with my friend. I felt envy that campus is located near the station. We had lunch at Italian cafe in cafeteria and talked a lot.
And then, we went to the ground to watch a soccer game. The result of it was a draw, but we really enjoyed except the cold at night of winter.
Recently, there are many people who have a cold or influenza, so I'll take care of my health.

Yeah! Today I completed all the tests of "IT skill " at last. Especially the last test is much more difficult than expected, so first I was surprised at its difficulty, and I was tired of myself because I couldn't get through irrespective of a lot of challenge. Every time I failed, I said to myself that "God damn you!!!", but eventually I managed to pass, so now I'm happy beyond description! "IT skill" was just a nuisance to me!!!

Last Saturday, I went to Tokyo Disney Sea! In the park, there were tastefully halloween decorations. I saw many monster of pumpkins. They created an weird and enchanting atmosphere(^^) I had a very good time. When it began to get dark, a lot of orange illuminations were superbly beautiful! I did not want to go back home. I love Tokyo Disney Sea☆

Do you know LUSH? The shop sells many fresh handmade cosmetics .

Many kind of soap , body cream, facial cleansing cream is placed at the shop,

Then, I bought a body soap called " Punch de shower".

This soap looks like a lump which made of sugar.

Using this soap , I feel rough with sand.

I went to school in Shibuya to see freshman speech contest last Saturday.
My friends who belong to speech section did great speech! Especially, the speech about pets was impressive and moved me very much. The speech said, many pets which we can buy at the pet shop easily are raised for the purpose of money, but unsold pets are killed after they grow to a certain extent. As humans have rights to live, animals also have and we can never infringe it. Our life depends on money, so we try to work hard to earn our living, saving, educational expenses for children and so on. We cannot live without money, but our business can become a threat to the other lives, including many pets. I knew this serious situation about pets through her speech, and I think we must consider the other things, for instance animals, nature and environment more when we do any economic activity.
Her suggestion was new and unique and it’s wonderful speech, so I had really good experience(＊^^＊)

Today my fifth class was canceled. But I didn't go home soon because I had to do "IT classes". I worked hard and managed to pass exam of Word. Next stage is Excel. Word and Excel are very useful software but, to tell the truth, it's more quick and easy for me to write by hand. Anyway, my progress of IT is behind compared with my friends. I want to finish by the deadline!!

I watched the drama of "Tokyo DOGS" while having dinner. It is a detective serious-comedy TV drama. The role of Oguri shun is laughable. I will watch the drama to the end.

I went to see a movie with my friend on Friday night.
In the cinema, there were full of couples, but we were equally enjoying.(~ω~)
The movie that we saw was "Watashi No Naka No Anata".
I have been known about this story by a documentary.
This story is about the girl who was born for her sister's donor.
I have two brothers, so I think If my brothers were born for my donor, probably I' sorry for them.
People should be born for my own sake, not for other people's sake.
However, as I saw this movie, I changed my opinion.

It is shown the love of family and very emotional.
I shed tears parts of story,and I felt the importance of my family.

Libra Open *

Hello :) I will talk about yesterday's event!

Yesterday, I had a discussion meeting which is called Libra Open. Libra Open was managed by Waseda University ESS. Meeting place was very big. President's English pronunciation was fluent though she was Japanese. There were a lot of point which I was surprised.

By the way, Yesterday's topic was drug issue again and also Opinion presenter's plan was that Japanese government should admit to use drug. There were a lot of lacking point because he didn't prepare enough. So, I argued many times. One of my argument was that even if there is a room to make better situation by Japanese government, there is not necessity for change from status qua because there is the other way that can take the place of drug. One of example is cigarette.

To discuss with another university's student is very fun for me. It is like a logic game. Recently, I think about how to argue in discussion and to write explanation sheet well. It is also fun for me.

After reading your blog, I thought about my using PC deeply. When I come back home, I start up PC everyday. I use it to search some information or access Mixi.

Thanks to PC, we can search a lot of date easily. However, I think it will be cause of lacking ability to think by myself. I believe that it is important to go to library and look for books for a long time which are needed for making report. I think it makes me more feel a sense of achievement than searching by PC. Thorough felling a sense of achievement, we can develop into a darling person.

Thanks to your blog, I want to change my searching style. From now on, I try not to depend on PC too much as much as possible.

Slump

What cheers you up when you are tired or depressed? For me, what cheer me up are songs. Especially I am cheerful when I sing songs. But I am in the middle of the slump now. new cellular phone

I jogged around my home for about an hour, and I came back my home just now.

I went to the elementary shool near my apartment as a member of volunteer group last Wednesday. I played with many children in the gym. It was a very enjoyable time for me!

Moreover we should communicate with others by meeting and talking directly. I don't like telephone and e-mail very much because I can't see others' faces.
So I think we should do everything without computer as hard as possible. However we Japanese don't have time to do anything by hand. So using computers cannot be avoided.(>_<)　
But anyway, we should try to do things without depending on the computer!

Speaking of drama, I have watched two dramas, "Buzzer Beat" and "Chivalrous Helper" until recently. How do you say "Chivalrous" in Japanese? That's "Ninkyou", the meaning of which is to protect the weak and to depress the strong. Besides, those with "Ninkyou dou" don't mind their life if they have to act for the sake of jus. What admirable they are!!The main role of this drama is a member of famous singer team SMAP, Tsuyosi Kusanagi!! Oh, I like him so much!! As you know, he was arrested before because of a certain happening ,which is considerably famous, but this famousness implies that he is the most popular in Japan, and he is loved by many people. Therefore, as soon as he was released as a decision not to prosecute after receiving social sanction, he was able to return to work. I think he storongly reflected on his conduct that he drank fiercely and was so vexed because he doesn't remember the happening even today. However, in any case, he is blessed from all the viewpoints. The drama in iteself takes up a real problem, so that's interesting! The problem of nursing care completely has become a serious issue today. In my experience, I am interesting in this issue and can have the similar feeling in common with thoes who is devoted to nursing care.


As for "Buzzer Beat", to tell the truth, the evaluation is not good in my opinion as a former basketball player. According to my friend with the experience of baseball, he agrees with my evaluation because he has a similar feeling while watching "Rookies." This is not my critique but what is naturally expected!! I'm sorry if I make you angry.><

However, It reads in this way, what is intelligible to many people is needed to tell us something abstract the author keeps in mind. In fact, this drama has overwhelming popularity in the last season. Something the author wanted to tell us may have had extraordinary power which consequently made many people so excited, I guess.

Anyway, I have watched all the stories of them.

How many times do I have to tell you? Of course, they are excellent!!!

Autumn weather

Good evening. A moment ago, I heard my brother's high school cancels classes because of influenza. He don't suffer from influenza now, but I worry about him. Last week, one of my favorite star, Shota Yasuda who is a member of Kanjani Eight had suffered from flu. I was really shocked. Now he get better. I aim to washing hands and gargling!
Speaking of Shota Yasuda, I watched "ROMES", new serial drama of NHK. He wear suit in the drama and looks very cool.

I have found a part-time job which meets my conditions. I will call to the reference tomorrow. If I pass the interviewing I write about my job.

On my way to home, it began to rain!　I was anxious because the washing was put outside the room. In addition, I didn't have an umbrella. So, I went back home as fast as possible. The washing got wet little bit, but it was OK.

By the way, My personal boom is sweet potato♪ "Tonyu", taste of sweet potato, is my favorite drink now. I cooked "baked sweet potatos" today. To tell the truth, they wasn't good-tasting... I'll try to bake again!

I came back from part-time job a short time ago. I got a mental exhaustion because I couldn’t wait on customers well and I became so confused. In fact, this is my first part-time job in my life and today is the first day of it. I understand Mari’s feelings.

Campus festival

Hi! Today, morning class was canceled because of typhoon. I became frightened by strong wind and heavy rain. But we are blessed with fine weather this afternoon.

Recently I come back late to prepare for a campus festival. I belong to tea-ceremony club. We are going to held tea party in the festival. Practice in the tea ceremony, for example kneeling in the formal seiza position for long time, is hard but I enjoy every club activities. In addition, members of the club are nice. Yesterday I ate dinner with club members. I spent really happy time. So I like my club.

A Clear Blue Sky

Shhhh! Secret inside information: I have received notice that Nihon and Ferris Universities have canceled their classes for tomorrow (Thursday, October 8, 2009) but I don't teach at those universities tomorrow . . . Aoyama has sent a notice to teachers saying that they are watching and thinking about closing tomorrow (I teach at Shibuya campus) and will let us know around 6 am about the typhoon. Of course, I am glad to go and proceed with class if we are having school but, if not . . . I wish I could know tonight!

I have no classes on Wednesdays, but I went to college to do my homework and chose book of Book Report with my friends. There were many people in college than I had expected. I think that the latter semester is harder than the former semester. There are too many things we have to do.

I heard the typhoon 18 that is most strong in past ten years will come our area tomorrow, so I don't want to go college.
I have track-and-field game in this weekend, and I'll run 5000 meters. It is hard to run in rain, so I hope the typhoon passes and goes somewhere soon.

However, recently, many people don't pay it.
I think they are dishonest, but on the other hand, I see the feeling of them because I hardly watch NHK.

I went to a driving school and took a test after school.

If I had taken only one more point, I could have passed.

Hi! How are you?

Yesterday, I went to Roppongi to see night view and to go to art museum. In art museum in Roppongi, The Habsburger exhibition is now holding. There are many painting which famous artists drew, for example El Greco, Rubens and Van Dyck. If you have learned the world history, you must know these artists. I like seeing painting. So, It was very precious experience for me. I want to go there again!

And then, I went to Roppongi hills to see night view. I went to 52floor. It was the best view I have never seen! I saw Tokyo tower. It was very beautiful.

Your opinion is right, I think. Though I don't always need cellular phone, I want to take my cellular phone at all times because I am a person who has no sense of direction(>_<,,)
And I think cellular phone has some good point. For example, it helps people to make friends. I'm poor at remembering person's neme and face. So mail address always help me to recall my friend. And I can contact with friends who don't go to same college. Moreover, cellular phones are necessity for girls to go somewhere at night.
In fact, cellular phones cause a lot of matters. So I think we should create the age limit so as not to be implicated in a crime.

Housework Day

Hi!Today I could get enough sleep. I caught up on my sleep.

Recently I haven't done housework because I've been pressed with report and homework. In addition, my mother will come my apartment. If my room is dirty, she would get angry...(・_・;) So I decided to do housework today. I washed clothes, cleaned my room and the toilet and the bathroom. Then I went shopping for dinner. I bought potatoes, an onion and carrots. Today's denner is curry. As is usual with living by myself, I made too much! I want to share with someone.

Today, New TV came to my house! It is bigger than old TV. So, I want to watch movies at once!

Yesterday, we had IE class :) In discussion, we talked about cigarettes. It was the same topic as ESS! Since discussion member was very wonderful, I really enjoyed that time. But I felt that my English is very poor. So, I want to try hard to study English more than ever!

NABE Party

Yesterday, I enjoyed NABE party with my college friends. The taste was tamato. Do you know tomato nabe? It seems to be in fashion. I ate for the first time and I liked it very much! The taste is like minestrone soup but we can get more kinds of vegetables than minestrone.
When it is a cold day, you want to eat nabe, don't you? Recently, it getting cooler day by day. I recommend you to eat nabe and warm yourself!
