I'll write about "Metropolice."
1. Who are the main characters?
-I think they are Freder, the man in the white clothes, and Maria, the beautiful woman but who seems not so rich.
2.What is the main theme?
-The theme is hierarchy.
There are two parts in the world of the movie: workers and employers.
The clothes they wear indicate their differences of the life condition, and what is more, the living places seem to make the differences clearer, for example the workers live under the ground, on the other hand, the employers live in the buildings above them.
3.What do I learn at the end?
-Even people in different position can understand each other.
By effort of Freder and Maria, the workers and the employer, Freder's father, lastly come together. Besides this, Freder and Maria who were in different positions can finally get married, or engaged.
I think I've watched this in another class.
In the class, we observed how the workers were described in the future world when people in 1927 had expected.
I could watch it in another view this time and it was very interesting!
