I watched the movie "Metropolis" last Friday.
It was interesting than I had expected!! And I was amazed that this movie had high quality visual images,especially city in the future was real!!
It was made in 1927...unbelievable!!!

I think theme of this movie is the relationship between sovereign and laborer.At first worker labor automatically and they are controlled by machine entirely.Also they work at terrible situation without joy. It is just alienation of labor.Finally,
head and hand connect through mediator.
3....What lesson or moral do we learn at the end?
I think this movie have a lot of satire on society.
Sovereign and laborer need to link strongly and have firm bond without ego or despotism. They should cooperate for peaceful world.
Then technology development is certainly important,but people should not forget feelings and emotions.
