Good evening! Although I'm from Nagano, I'm easily affected by cold whether. I have to dress up warmly.
Then I write about movies I watched in IE class.
Metropolis
1. Main character: Joh Frederson and his employees
2. Theme: the relationship of trust between employer and employees
3. Lesson: I think an employer and employees should trust each other. Joh Frederson didn't know how hard working under the ground was. Employees were treated like a thing. On the other hand, they just kept working and didn't try to take any action to change their situation. The company would go under in that conditions. Freder and Maria broke the wall between "Head" and "Hand". At last Joh and his employees can communicate each other. This is essential thing to manage company.
Mermaid and Aquarios
These movies are difficult to understand. But I learned some lessons from the movies. One is that we should have flexible thinking. Surely a mermaid does not exist in this world or human cannot become dolphin, thinking from a realistic point of view. But we can imagine and dream these things freely. Visible thing is not all thing.
Another lesson is love of nature. I think the boy and woman in the movies love the sea deeply. The boy went back the sea with the mermaid and woman can swim like a dolphin at the end. They live together with nature in a true sense.
Come On In
Welcome to IE 2 2009/10 members of this class blog for journaling, discussion, and communication. Remember that you need to enter into the blog at least twice a week (more is better). Let's comment, point each other to new information, and ask questions. Also, don't forget to feed the fish (tap pool to make food). Are you ready? Blog on!
